★ Biography

<sub>Manami was born in a well off family in Japan, Osaka. She stayed there until she was five when her whole family decided to move to America for a business trip. When she arrived in America, she didn't speak any English and was made fun of her accent. she was bullied and pushed around. even though it was unhappy, she stayed strong, because she always remembers about her best friend back in Japan who taught her different stories about the stars.

Every night she would look at the stars, and as she got older she still continued to exchange letters between Japan and America. She kept all these letters in a treasure box safely believing that one day, she and her best friend will get married in Japan. She was getting more use to the life in States and made more friends through basketball. She was short but she had the skills and everyone was impressed, but after playing basketball, she was always left alone. one summer, letter between them somehow seemed odd, it seemed as though her friend changed into another person.

When she went back to Japan with her family, she found out that her best friend past away in an accident on the way to visit her in America. the letters were actually written by her brother because he promise to keep in touch with Manami at his last breathe. it was since then, Manami seemed like she never grew up. she stopped growing taller, she never even had puberty. she just stopped growing. it was a huge shock for her and even when she thought that she had gotten over with it but maybe there was more to it. She felt like she was responsible of her best friend's death so she decided to enter this school because she wanted to continue her best friend's dream, and learn all about the stars and divination. She feels like she doesn't have the right to have what she wants and tries to help others out as much as possible.
